Perimenopause

A sky during sunset with a gradient of pink, purple, and yellow colors. Online therapy for perimenopause in California.

In the past few years, we’ve finally had much more medical discussion about what this major life transition can feel like. Emotionally, however, there’s still a lack of solid information about how to both survive and thrive through whatever perimenopause throws at us.

There are medical, hormonal, and clinical aspects to this transition, and just as in other life transitions, there are big opportunities to learn about ourselves and grow. How do we enter this next chapter bolder, wiser, and more ourselves than ever? (Also, how might we get through this week…?)

We might find our identity crystallizing into a truer version of who we are. We might also have worries about aging, shifts in our relationships, be parenting older kids/tweens/teens through their hormonal changes while we navigate our own, and we might have physical and emotional symptoms that make us feel foggy, tired, achy, anxious, and uncomfortable.

Let’s talk about all of it! We can make room to grow older and wiser in an aligned and empowered way and get curious about this new chapter in order to gain a greater understanding of ourselves.
